Job Title: Per Diem Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics

Job Location: Various locations (Home and Facility-Based Settings)

Position Type: Per Diem

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Per Diem Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing therapy services in both home and facility-based environments. As a per diem therapist, you will work on an as-needed basis, offering flexibility in your schedule while making a meaningful impact on children's development. You will collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address a variety of developmental, sensory, and motor challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients to determine needs, strengths, and therapy goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique needs.
  • Provide therapy to children with developmental delays, sensory processing issues, motor challenges, and other conditions.
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies and activities to support progress at home.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, teachers, and caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Follow all relevant safety and health regulations in the delivery of therapy.
  • Adapt therapy techniques to a variety of home and facility-based settings.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in New Jersey.
  • Experience working with pediatric patients in a clinical, home, or facility-based setting preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams.
